Our Work
Here are some projects we have completed thus far and some that we hope to create soon!

01
Tutoring core subjects
Tutoring the core subjects—Math, Science, English, and Chinese—supported refugee children with their academics. This was especially important as most of these children have never spoken Chinese before and the public education system often fails to accommodate their unique needs.
02
Establishing branches at shools
We recently launched an Open Doors club at Hong Kong International School, giving students there an opportunity to use their skills and passions to make a difference on the lives of refugee youth.

03

Workshop for practical skills
By teaching practical skills, we hope to nurture passions in refugee youth and give them more useful skills to improve their futures. These skills include financial literacy, investing, video editing, digital content creation, and social media marketing. The above skills help children find unofficial work online which is particularly important as Hong Kong doesn't allow refugees to find work.
04
Refugee manual
The psychological and emotional needs of refugee youth are just as important as their material needs. By reaching out to experts in refugee psychology and education, we hope to create a manual that guides volunteers on how to craft activities best suited for refugee youth.
