Our
Work
Here are our favourite workshops we have completed thus far! Workshops are all student, or company run. If you want to run your own workshop, navigate to the volunteer page where you can sign up!
Creative Writing
This five-day creative writing workshop was designed to equip students with the fundamental skills of narrative writing and guided them from initial concept to a completed project. The program began by introducing literary techniques and story structure, then progressed to character creation, and further developed the use of sensory imagery to build immersive settings. The final days were dedicated to a capstone project where students brainstormed, planned, and wrote their own original short story or comic, applying all the learned elements of effective storytelling. Debate
We ran several sessions teaching debate, as we believe that learning the skills to think critically and analyse systems is particularly important for refugees, as they often fight uphill battles against discriminatory systems and societies. Throughout our sessions, we taught kids how to contextualize motions, construct solid and logical arguments, understand the difference between principles and practical arguments, and rebut arguments. We kept students engaged by choosing motions related to their everyday lives; motions such as THW ban homework, and THW make school uniforms mandatory. We believe that these skills can help refugee kids in the future, where they can fight to create positive change and spread awareness for themselves. Click here to see more.

Football
Our sports recovery workshops provided refugee children with essential knowledge and techniques to support their athletic development and overall well-being. During the football training camp, we dedicated time to teaching proper stretching, dynamic warm-ups, and effective cool-down routines. Through engaging drills and practical demonstrations, we empowered these young athletes with the foundational practices to prevent injury, enhance performance, and promote healthy recovery, ensuring they could play safely and with confidence.
