We, at open doors, are proud to share with you the Ballers Initiative. Thanks to the help of HK Powerhouse Basketball and Refugee Union, in our first ever corporate partnership, we brought a 4 day training camp to Refugee Kids in Hong Kong.

Improve their Technique

We focused on building a strong foundation through expert coaching on fundamentals like dribbling, shooting form, and defensive footwork. Players gained greater control and confidence on the court, turning raw talent into refined skill through focused, repetitive drills and personalized feedback.

Solidify Shooting

Our Powerhouse coaches broke down the mechanics of the perfect shot: from balance and grip to follow-through. Players practiced from every spot on the court, learning to shoot under pressure and significantly improving their accuracy and consistency.

Work as a Team

Basketball is a language of its own. Through passing drills, defensive schemes, and scrimmages, players learned to communicate, anticipate each other's moves, and trust one another. They discovered how to leverage individual strengths for the greatest team success, both on and off the court.
